Mr. Gilbert Ng is one of the few Hong Kong qualified lawyers who has been devoted 100% in fintech, block chain and digital asset industry. He was the Legal Counsel of the two largest digital asset exchanges by volume, OKX and Huobi, and the Head of Legal and Company Secretary of a blockchain company listed on the mainboard of HKEX, namely New Huo Tech (formerly Huobi Tech (stockcode: 1611.hk). As a n all-rounded lawyer in fintech and digital asset industry, he advises on digital asset’s regulatory and compliance issues, digital asset license applications, merger and acquisitions, government relations and all other legal and compliance works in the industry. He is also experienced in merger and acquisitions of digital asset projects and companies as well as dealing with regulators and enforcement agencies in different jurisdictions.

Mr. Ng is now a founder of a digital asset focused consultancy firm and a Partner at a Venture Capital focusing in Fintech and Blockchain.  He is also the director at the Association of Blockchain Compliance Professional.
