What payment methods are accepted by ICLT?
ICLT accepts online credit card payment through specific event link or FPS.
If you choose to pay by FPS during registration, you may still receive a system email holding your place, but your registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of the payment and ICLT will issue another email to confirm your registration.

Can I get a refund after registering for a course?
All registration will be confirmed upon receipt of payment. A confirmation email will be issued for your reservation. No refund will be made after the confirmation email has been issued. If you cancel your reservation before confirmation email has been issued, refund policy in the terms and conditions applies.
About online training
Where can I get the zoom link for attending the course?
You will be provided with the zoom link in the confirmation email, usually sent out 3 days before the scheduled course date.
Where can I obtain course materials in advance?
You will be provided with the PPT or other training materials in the confirmation email, usually sent out 3 days before the scheduled course date.
About HKMAAL Accredited Stage 1 Mediation Training
What if I registered and cannot attend on certain days or periods?
Attendance: if you wish to take Stage 2 accreditation assessment of HKMAAL, 100% attendance is required for Stage 1. That said, the trainer may arrange for make-up class but until you have attended the make-up class, no completion certificate will be issued.
Role Play: Nearly half of the course will be role play exercises where one participant will act as the mediator and two other participants will act as the disputants. If you are absent from class, not only would it affect your accreditation, it would also affect the learning of your fellow classmates. Hence try your best to attend and be on time, and if you have extenuating circumstances, please write to ICLT as soon as possible and provide evidence such as medical certificate.
Coaching arrangement: According to the guidelines issued by HKMAAL, at least two different coaches will be assigned to coach your role play in which you act as the mediator. In those two role plays, written feedback will be provided.
About Typhoon/ Adverse Weather Arrangements:
If Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is in force two hours before the scheduled start time, the event will be postponed.
Further arrangements, including rescheduling details, will be announced via email or on the ICLT website.
Participants are advised to check for updates before travelling to the venue.

1. Purpose of Collection
The personal data we collect from you (including your name and email address) will be used for the following purposes:

Processing your registration and securing your place in the Course;

2. Obligatory or Voluntary Supply of Data
It is obligatory for you to provide your name and email address. The supply of payment information is also obligatory to confirm your registration. The supply of your data for direct marketing purposes is voluntary.
3. Consequences of Failure to Supply Obligatory Data
If you fail to provide the obligatory personal data, we will be unable to process your registration, send you the required access links, or confirm your place in the Course.
4. Classes of Transferees
The personal data you provide may be transferred or disclosed to the following classes of persons for the purposes outlined above:

Scheduling Platforms (Calendly): To manage your booking.

Payment Processors (Stripe): To securely process your payment. Please note that we do not store your full credit card details.

Accounting Software (Zoho Books): To issue and record your official receipt.

Virtual Meeting Platforms (Zoom): To provide you with access to the live online course.

Government bodies, law enforcement agencies, or courts as required by applicable laws or regulations.
5. Use of Personal Data for Direct Marketing
We intend to use your name and email address to send you information about future courses, services, and news from ICLT Hong Kong Limited. We cannot use your personal data for this purpose without your explicit consent. If you wish to receive such information, please tick the box on the registration form.
You may opt-out from receiving our marketing communications at any time, free of charge, by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any of our marketing emails or by contacting our Data Protection Officer.
6. Your Rights of Access and Correction
